Upper Duffryn Farm

Upper Duffryn Farm nestles among the hills of the Upper Clun Valley, beside the river Clun, just a few miles from the village of Newcastle.

Sited in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it has a small CL site for 5 units with electricity and waste disposal.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, and there are many local walks. Click here for info.

The site is open only to Caravan Club members.

Ludlow Castle

Ludlow is a half hour’s drive for those who enjoy the food festival, or wish to explore this historic town with its impressive castle, which has an annual Shakespeare festival. Other nearby small towns include  Clun, Bishop’s Castle, Knighton and Newtown (where there are supermarkets).

TV’s Victorian Farm

The surrounding countryside is rich with historic and archaeological interest.  The border lands hold numerous defensive Marcher castles, including nearby Clun Castle and Powys Castle. Also in the area  is the C18th Farm at Acton Scott, recently used for a television documentary series .

The Three Tuns Brewery

Those who enjoy good beer can find numerous pubs in which to sample locally brewed ale. There is a local beer festival in the Clun Valley in October.

Clicking on the above three images will take you to their websites.
